An Aboriginal Place Management Plan is an agreement formed in partnership between a proponent and the Aboriginal Party/s. An area is considered an ‘Aboriginal Place’ once gazetted by the relevant state Government, due to its cultural significance to Traditional Owners. This agreement outlines the heritage values of the Aboriginal Place and the measures intended to promote the protection of the area. Proponents must consult this plan to carry out future activities relating to the disturbance of the heritage landscape in this area.
-
Archaeological Excavation Reports (AER) present the results of excavation carried out by Everick Heritage. The purpose of the assessment is to determine the distribution and nature of the archaeological deposits within the project area, and to provide useful suggestions towards the future management of the site’s heritage to the proponent. Everick offers a wide range of services within the reporting process, including a site inspection, archival research, test excavation, artefact recording and community consultation.
-
We love to get out into communities, whether that be working with Indigenous groups, classrooms, teachers or the general public. Everick provides presentations and hands-on workshops on the topics of archaeology. We believe that learning is a mutual exchange of knowledge and experience and archaeology belongs to everyone.
-
Everick offers clients professional photography, videography and graphic design services, enabling interpretive communication packages included in your heritage project management. We recommend the best interpretation medium, approach and design to bridge the gap between your audience and the heritage of your project.
-
A framework for gathering, managing, and analysing locational data by organising layers of information into visualisations using maps and 3D scenes. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides deeper insights into physical locational data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations, allowing for smarter cultural heritage management advice and recommendations.
-
With both in-house legal and archaeological expertise, Everick Heritage can communicate with all stakeholders involved on a project. Our broad experience across Australia and passion for positive heritage outcomes ensures that we are motivated to provide advice to ease the confusion that may be produced by Australia’s complex heritage landscape.

A Statement of Heritage Impact (SoHI) is used to determine what the impact of a proposal would be on a historic item or listing. SoHIs include why the item is of heritage significance, what impact proposed works will have on that significance, and what measures are proposed to mitigate negative impacts. A SoHI is prepared in accordance with the Burra Charter 2013, the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, the Heritage Act 1977, and Local Environmental Plans (LEPs).
